Plants are an important source of medicines and play a vital role in achieving the WHO’s goal universal well-being. People becoming aware medicinal value natural needs. Among, many plants, Limonia acidissima L. which belong to Rutaceae family, emerged out be one most valuable plants owing multiple properties. Wood apple or contains 15% citric acid, potassium, calcium iron salt. The seed pulp contain fats protein. present work was undertaken lay down physio-chemical evaluation, phytochemicals biological parameters. Later powder wood extracted with antidiabetic activity, where later two activities were performed by bioautography ethanol Soxhlet method. preliminary analysis revealed presence all tested compounds like Alkaloids, Tannins, Phenolic compounds, Saponins, Steroids flavonoids. When HPTLC performed, plates observed under UV Light it gave characteristic banding pattern is unique ethanolic extract showed good antibacterial, antioxidant

Antioxidant Activity and Synthesis of Silver Nanoparticles Using the Leaf Extract of Limonia Acidissima

A green synthesis of silver nanoparticles was done using a particular plant extract of Limonia acidissima. Silver nanoparticles were synthesised by the bioreduction of silver nitrate using different concentrations of plant extract, and UV–visible spectral analysis was carried out to confirm the formation of silver nanoparticles. The presence of various phytochemicals like flavonoids, steroids, ...
